Who handles your data

Comarca Turismo (comarcaturismo.com.ar) is a tourism services portal for the Comarca Andina on the 42nd Parallel. You can write to us at contacto@comarcaturismo.com.ar with any question about your data.

What data we collect

• Provider registration: the name of the service, category, town, description, price, phone, email, website, location and photos you upload yourself, and the date and time you accepted the Legal notice. Part of it is published in your listing, depending on your plan.
• Email subscription: your email address and the page you signed up from, to send you news and offers.
• Contact: if you write to us by email or WhatsApp, we use your details only to reply to you.
• Plan payments: processed by Mercado Pago. We keep the payment record (provider, plan, amount, status and transaction identifiers), not your card details.
• Technical data: a cookie that remembers your language, a session cookie in the providers' panel, counters for listing visits and clicks on the WhatsApp button (no personal data), and, on the website only (not in the app), the usage statistics collected by Google Analytics.

Third-party services we use

When you use the site, some data goes through these services, which have their own privacy policies:

• Google Maps: maps embedded in listings and in Useful info. When a map loads, Google may receive your IP address and browser data. In Useful info the map loads when you choose a town.
• Google Analytics and Google Tag Manager: website usage statistics (they are not loaded in the app); they may use cookies.
• Google Cloud Translation: the texts of listing descriptions and prices are sent to Google to be translated into English and Portuguese. Names, phone numbers and emails are not sent.
• Mercado Pago: payment of the plans for providers.
• WhatsApp: the contact button opens WhatsApp with the provider; WhatsApp handles that data under its own policy.

How to request access, correction or removal

To request access to your data, to correct it or to have it deleted (for example, removing your listing or your subscription), write to us at contacto@comarcaturismo.com.ar from the email you registered with.

The Android app

The Comarca Turismo Android app shows this website inside an application. It has no accounts or forms: it does not ask for your name or email. Your favorites are stored only on your phone and are not sent to our servers (the Favorites screen asks for the saved listings by their identifier in order to display them). So that Pharmacies, Useful info and Favorites can be viewed offline, the app keeps a copy on your phone; it is deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data. The app does not use analytics: it does not load Google Analytics or Google Tag Manager. Useful info shows Google maps, which receive your IP address when they load. The app only asks for the internet permission: it does not use your location, camera, contacts or files. Provider registration, the provider panel and plan subscriptions are not in the app: they are done on the website, in the phone's browser.
